Parey Hut Love - Movie Review - Reviews

The directors of Parey Hut Love were inspired by the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. So this film includes four weddings and a funeral. I didn’t look at the original British version of this movie, so I can’t compare it, but I have to say that after watching the three “big” movies of this Eid, I’m pretty sure that the something that our seriously endanger filmmakers is the script that is really unfortunate. Cinematography, places and settings of Parey Hut Love do not disappoint. It is also refreshing to view new faces on the big screen. Maya Ali gave a really solid performance in the film. His dialogue and his general appearance are completely correct. Sheheryar Munawar’s portrait of a disturbed, vulnerable, angry and confused young man is sometimes fragil in Reviews. The scenario and the dialogues are the weak link in this film. Hina Dilpazeer is very disappointing, especially in serious scenes. The cameo of Fawad Khan was a surprise and it was really sad to see Fawad Khan on the big screen in a Pakistani film after such a long time, but for such a short period – just a few minutes!

First impression and the final Parey Hut Love starts with a bang, you really feel like you’re in an amazing adventure, because the film has a breathtaking opening scene. Parisheh James also made a great first impression and Frieha Altaf did well. Director Asim Raza has done everything to bring the big wedding desi to life on the big screen. Even the story of love at first sight went well with the opening theme of the film. However, as the story progressed, I realized that this was another story of a struggling artist who wanted to make a difference in the theater and film industry. The main character in the film is therefore very much like Superstar superstars. As the film progresses, Sheheryar’s (Sheheryar Munawwar) anger and engagement issues are investigated, but the writer has done absolutely no justice. Initially it seemed that this film would do justice to the ‘romantic’ element of the film, but unfortunately that was not the case!

Sheheryar and Saniya (Maya Ali) look good together, although they have gone too fast, but the performance of Sheheryar Munawar, especially in scenes showing the anger of her character, was really disappointing. “You hurt me, you hurt me” dialogues were written to death! The main characters cry a lot in the film and the lack of communication between them is laughable! The half-cooked scenario of Parey Hut Love, combined with supporting characters who serve a greater purpose but have absolutely no impact, makes this film a Pakistani film that is both breathtaking and visual, but does not create an emotional bond with the audience. Even someone as talented as Ahmed Ali Butt is lost in a role that does not fully exploit his talent. Zara Noor Abbas fails and tries a bit too hard. The funny thing is that Sheheryar thanked his stepfather for everything! Sheheryar who eventually won his love was not the least reward, because he was confused until the end, until Zeena (Mahira Khan) decided for him! Just like many other Pakistani films, it tries to achieve too much and ultimately gets very few.

General impression
Parey Hut Love is a colorful film that is stunning, but the performance of Sheheryar Munawar leaves much to be desired. The script has no flow, we are going from one wedding and one season to another. You can’t deny that Nadeem Baig is a legend, but why would you play it in the same roles in two different films released on the same date? The general scenario of Parey Hut Love is very similar to that of Superstar. Therefore, if you have seen one, you will eventually have to compare them. Maya Ali looks really good on the big screen and her performance leaves a lasting impression, even if her character disappears between the two. Some of the more serious scenarios are just ridiculous, which is a shame. Songs, choreography and cinematography make this film bearable. The guest of Mahira Khan is not limited to a dance song and the film starts and ends with thanking Mahira Khan! The role of Mahira Khan is short but crucial in the intrigues that also seem forced and further weaken the character. Parey Hut Love could have been a pretty simple love story, but trying to add more .
